still FAR too hot to bare

Another scorcher of a day. When will this heat wave end?

I blame global warming and those people that treat our environment  as if it’s infinite. It would be if we treated it with respect. **sigh**

Heard today that shamus is coming to cape town for a bit again!

I’m sure fish will be as delighted to see his grampa as I am :)

Told the house guest he has to get his behind in gear abd out my house. Guests don’t stay for 3 months and tenants PAY on time. So currently he is purely a squatter.

I should learn to say NO.

When batman and I were still together we had 3 cats. Voudou, gremlin and gemini. V had kitties when Fish was born and we gave one of them to my little sister and her beau. Today we found out that sweet Mr Bigglesworth has cat leukemia and was put down.  RIP little kitty. And to my sister… I am oh so sorry for the loss of your gorgeous little Mr kitty.

It’s amazing how we don’t see our animals as a HUGE factor in our lives and yet when they aren’t there we miss them terribly.

I adotped joon (our border collie) and every now and then it hits me that we will have 5 years less with her than most people have with their dogs. But we will enjoy her (and Nemo) every minute they are around. Because they truly make this house a home xxx
